Zeer nette Triumph TR8 van 1980 in donkerblauw. Deze TR8 is een nette rijdersauto, een auto met een dikke V8 om enorm lol in te maken. Wat een geluid komt er uit die dubbele uitlaat !! De wedge vorm was eind jaren 70, begin jaren 80 enorm vooruitstrevend. Er zijn slechts 2750 TR8’s gebouwd, je zult begrijpen dat ze vandaag de dag behoorlijk zeldzaam aan het worden zijn. Er zijn er een stuk minder van overgebleven dan de 2750 gebouwde exemplaren. Deze TR is uitgerust in donkerblauw. De auto heeft de juiste blauwe ruitjes bekleding en matching deurpanelen, de stoelen zijn juist opnieuw bekleed.
De tapijtset is zoals origineel ook blauw, net als de armsteun en het achterpaneel. De softtop en de hoodcover zijn beiden uitgerust in blauw vinyl zoals af fabriek standaard was. Het stuur is ook nog het originele blauwe lederen stuurwiel, zeer zeldzaam.
De motor is geupgrade naar de 3.9 liter V8 , een bekende en betrouwbare upgrade uit de British Leyland fabriek. De 5 versnellingsbak schakelt messcherp. Het dashboard is geheel origineel en alles werkt zoals het hoort , de open klappende koplampen geven de auto een speciale look als je de lichten aandoet. De Triumph staat op de originele factory geleverde aluminium wielen. Verwacht geen over de top gerestaureerde auto voor dit geld maar wel een heerlijke, nette rijdersauto waarvan de techniek prima in orde is .! De wedge shaped cars zijn steeds gewilder de laatste jaren, zeker omdat er zo weinig van over zijn. Wie is de eerste voor deze laag geprijsde zeldzaamheid ?

Very neat Triumph TR8 from 1980 in dark blue. This TR8 is a neat driver's car, a car with a big V8 to have a lot of fun in. What a great sound comes out of that double exhaust!! The wedge shape was very progressive in the late 70s, early 80s. Only 2750 TR8s were built, you will understand that they are becoming quite rare today. There are a lot less of them left than the 2750 built copies. This TR is equipped in dark blue. The car has the correct blue checked upholstery and matching door panels, the seats have just been reupholstered.
The carpet set is also blue as original, just like the armrest and the rear trimpanel. The soft top and the hood cover are both equipped in blue vinyl as was standard from the factory. The steering wheel is also the original blue leather steering wheel, very rare. The engine has been upgraded to the 3.9 liter V8, a well-known and reliable upgrade from the British Leyland factory. The 5 speed gearbox shifts like its brandnew. The dashboard is completely original and everything works as it should, the open headlights give the car a special look when you turn on the lights. The Triumph stands on the original factory supplied aluminum wheels. Do not expect an over-the-top restored car for this money, but a wonderful, neat driver's car with excellent technology. The wedge shaped cars have become increasingly popular in recent years, especially because there are so few left. Who will be the first for this low-priced rarity?
